The Beauty

Where is the beauty?
Is it in the object perceived or
Is it in the eyes of the beholder who perceives it?

What is the state of the person who is void of the beauty?
Does he not lead dry and lifeless existence?
There is no creation but only memories of the dead past.

No new life to live.
Only memories dominating the present moment.
Life lost in past, future, hopes and achieving.

What is beauty if it is not creation, simplicity, wonder and mysteries beyond.
It must be vibrant living thing.
It must be moment by moment eternal creation.

Simplicity is Austerity

There is beauty and elegance in simplicity. Stripped of all its excesses to the bare bone, the essence of its being reveals completely. It shines like full moon on a clear autumn night on highest mountain top.

Without  any detractions the simplicity displays its extraordinary balance and movement. There is peace or rather arrest to eternal time. Nothing is out of its place for everything seems in their natural place in space.

This is the absolute beauty when the movement of the mind, the thought is arrested to the present timeless moment. Eternity, which like great music and art endeavor to arrest to this timeless moment.

To be simple, there must be austerity. One must see and observe arduously of all its excesses, desires, wants and noises of the past. It must be total austerity.

There it shines brightly undeniably the beauty of the truth.

Desire

What is desire?
What is the object of desire?
Why do we desire thing?

Mind knowing its nature of impermanence seeks continuation.
It fears cessation and end of thinking.
It want to be occupied.

Does not desire breed fear of failure to achieve?
In achieving its desire does it not seek another?
What is important is the desire itself instead of what is desired?

What is the highest desire of all?
Is it not wanting to know god the unknowable?
Or is it desire of mind for its continuity?

Is there anything that is permanent?

By understanding the nature of desire,
There is action.
This action is cessation of desire.

Freedom from what?

One can not obviously do what ever he wants for we  all share this world, then what is freedom? Is not freedom mean free of conditioned thinking and colors of past knowledge? Why should we be free of past?
Isn't it because past imposes itself to the moment when perceiving the present? Does it not interfere with clear and true observation?

Past is measuring. Act of thinking, past robs present moment causing lost of reality or distortion of the truth of what is.

To see the truth one must observe what is without distorting lens of the past or the thought. The present is always a new for there is constant unfolding of mystical creation and beauty.

It's vastness and wonder can not be measured for it is limitless.

To see its grandeur and wonder of it all requires total attention in observation. In this total awareness the thought can not be present, when the thought enters truth will be colored blurred. The moment is lost to bridge the past and future. Life is lost to regurgitation of the past. Vitality of life is lost and life's energy spent.

Self Awareness

One must be constantly alert of one's own thoughts interjecting into the present moment thus interfering with awareness of the present.

Thoughts are made of the past. Past is gone and it was but is not real now. It can  not be living thing for it is dead. The future is but a modified past to project desires. Future can only be imagined with words and images of the past. It is not real either.

What is real must be present here at this moment.

When you are alert to see that thoughts arise in your mind at that moment thought vanishes and there is silence. In that silence there is total awareness. When that silence is not broken by another thought and one is fully aware of all that is here that is meditation.

In this choice-less observation and total awareness reveal what truth is. The truth, what is, is the unfolding of the constant new. In this creation self is dissolved which we call communion. Observer is the observed, it is inseparable one.

To be constantly alert of all the changes occurring and be to totally aware of all that is demand enormous energy. It is extremely arduous. One must be strong and not have waisted his energy to see the vastness of life in constant change.

The challenges are more difficult as we spend and waist much energy in process of living. The younger people less difficulty to cope with vastness of life for they are agile, flexible, inquisitive and full of energy.

American Democracy

Democracy in Brazil? Perhaps Obama should talk after visiting Favelas first. Where people live without any hope of change just like Washington DC only few blocks from the White house mighty capital of the Empire. Or for that matter almost all eastern city including New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Detroit, where 70% blacks live in absolute poverty in burnt buildings without services for whites burnt all the building for insurance money.

Whites have moved out not wanting to live with blacks and destroyed all of large cities in the East. 70% blacks are the descendants  of early American slaves. Under most dehumanizing treatment White masters have you believe other wise all you have to read the government school books. They still anguish in absolute despair in all the inner cities of America. No jobs, no hope, original slums for century s and on.

Through out history of America it has wiped out whole Indigenous tribes and nations without trace, genocides. Or worse yet, forced mass eviction of whole nations into waste lands, like Florida Seminoles booted out of fertile Texan country and Sioux to leave their homeland to waste land.  Grandmothers mothers and babies all forced march thousands of miles on feet for months and months until only few reach the unbearable waste lands.

All this so white settlers rape the land until all of nature of Midwest prairie is converted silos and farms. The maximum encroachment humanity to nature. Now we USDA Dept of Agriculture pays these rich farmers millions dollars each not to grow. So that greedy bankers can keep basic food prices high  and keep the poor enslaved in dark ages.

Brazil is built on African slaves just like US by another slave masters from Portugal.

Anyone who has amassed $1000,000,000 while others are hungry in same town is a person out of touch with reality. With brutality cruelty instead of cooperation he has destroyed and eliminated competition without any regards and scruples what so ever,

They have enslaved millions in their quest for money and power. Forcing them to work long hours for years and to no end.

Just ask Microsoft engineers how Bill Gates forced them to work long hours so he can dominate and amass such uncountable wealth. He has monopoly in operating system for PC and his 100 of the most highly paid lawyer cronies defended monopoly with out any problem. If there are few who objects you can buy them off for they will need money to run for reelection.

There are hundred more detours to throw at you if that doesn't work. IBM's case they used De facto standard defense called litigation. Tie it up in courts for 20 years. Just throw few gold coins to court jesters and they will sing for you until all opponents get old and die. Then no one will remember anything for they are gone or passed away and the industry has move on to new and bigger, in this case Microsoft.

Every software engineers and workers I know who works for MS hates him. Its good money for engineers they are not complaining too much. But it is much worse for those work over seas factories. Workers are to obey mechanical robots and assembly line which dehumanizes them, repeating same boring but exhaustive routine like the other robots on the line. They suffer hour after hour, day after day, month after month, year after year with no end in sight.

They are uneducated and conditioned through propaganda to believe that they are lucky for they have jobs. If you are not slaves then they will brush off them and leave the them to human vultures those await on the fringes, they feed on slavery, body parts etc, anything and everything.

Those who feed on misery of others need to be removed and redistribute money to those punished and impoverished under his dictatorship. This includes bankers, kings, queens, bureaucrats and the rest of the parasites of humanity.

The Turning Point

I didn't grasp the point here. Are you assuming that any rulers are going get in touch with reality and come out with fundamentally important changes? Or is this just another pretty dressing on unnourishable stale bread.

If you are the sickness, disease, or parasite can you heal your self? Must you not cease to be in order that healing takes place. Are you understanding what is being said here? One part of the system can not heal the other, you are the sickness.
Otherwise system can not fix the problem, for the system is the problem.

If you see this not only superficially with out mind but feel and understand at deepest levels of your being then action arises. The system must be removed for healing to occur.

I love your comment you made in human revolution video with other editors regards to cable gate and Wikileaks' influence on it. The comment was about state of the turning point. The tide has turned, critical mass ignited, no going back to 10 years ago of the dark age far past when we were working with stone age tool floppy disks with stand alone tools. With no eyes, no ears, no voice comes no understanding.

Nor can you imagine 30 years from now kings, queens, dictators, politicians and generals parading in carnivals with 20 pounds of head gear, as court jesters of the ghost past will have us believe they are real.

Double Iron Curtian

Let the truth be heard! Very good observation. NO governments, rulers, systems are needed if one is to be free.

Look at the double steel iron curtain in US Mexican border to keep hungry from being fed meanwhile dumping all excess grains into ocean to keep profit levels high. Dept of Agriculture pays rich farmers millions dollars per year to not grow food for fear of lowering the profits for rich people.

Ignorant tyrannic American majority kills uncountable immigrants looking to fill their aching stomachs to survive another day. We shoot them when they cross the iron curtain, also in between two iron curtains 5 meter high with barbed wires, and before reaching wall with mistaken hopes. Human traders take all their money and slaughter them for profit.

If you are coming from Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua or Guatemala it gets even worse. Countless will be murdered, kidnapped and sold for slave, life saving stolen, hunger and humiliation continues. If you survive double iron curtain of proud USA awaits you and pretend that we don't want you as our servants. Hilarious and lubricious which rhymes with Hillary and Obama.

Where as world's richest man Mexican Carlos Slim with his 100,000,000,000 dollars continue to ravage enslave the poor and hungry all in the name of democracy. If you put dollar bill back to back it should circle the earth 100 times over. All this while there are no running water for the poor, and in the cities they turn on the running water every 3 days so everyone needs to buy water tanks. When they need money they cut the pipes off for months and force them to buy trucked in water even in tropical wetlands. In the desert at least they pretend there is not enough water, but in the rain forest? They are forced to buy drinking water everywhere people makes only few dollars a day.

True change can only come through individual

Beware of all and any politicians and rulers. It does not matter democracy or not. Democracy is tyranny by 51% ignorant majority. It is refreshing to see such young bright commentators participating in this important issue.

Important question here is why do you want to be ruled? If you ask wrong question you will get irrelevant answer. No political system will work. All systems are in state of corruption. We must question all presumptions like do we need nations and borders and military. Is not the national flag cause of the conflict? Why do you assume that conflict is a nature of humanity, are you saying that we can not change? If we are to find out by deeply probing what is the conflict at the deepest level, which is in individual's unconscious, through understanding, conflicts stop. Understanding has its own action. When you see the truth of a venomous snake, no analysis is needed. There is action, you jump and move away. All analysis only leads to paralysis.

It is individuals conflict that must end for society is sum of individuals. We can not change society but each individual must transform through not only technical education but total education including self awareness. The conditioning the society and the rulers imposes us to control us. We are violent. We are competitive and competition kills competitor. We measure and measuring is self aggrandizement. We accumulative, envious, greedy, seeking success, proud of our past like titles awards, All these and more are conflicts.

Be aware! Change to the new system is no change at all, it is only modified continuation. True revolution must come from within individual for no system will work, look at the history, nothing has worked.

There are no answers only right questions. If the right question is asked true understanding takes place along with its own action. Understanding is the action. Be constantly alert of the moment and be totally aware of what is happening especially including our conditioning and psychological responses or thoughts. Just be aware of all this and let the facts operate on you. Trying to change the fact will only lead to chaos, one only need to open the eyes to see this happening all over the world.

Brave New World and New Order

This is very important point as my Iranian friend has pointed out to me. Iranian revolution took biological dictator to religious dictator, no real changes but name only. We must pay all attention to this issue or we would loose countless more lives and continue with misery, cruelty and suffering.

This is a such large subject I recommend reader to first examine the most poignant voice of the modern times J Krishnamurti who was invited speaker to UN Peace conference 1984, It is posted on YouTube.

His position is that no fundamental changes can occur through organizations for it is only a modified continuation. New blind leader will lead blind followers. Fundamental changes can only happen at individual level. It is the individual that must change for society is but a sum of the individuals. The society can not change, it is the individual that changes through correct education, awareness and investigation.

It is a tall order but he said at 1984 address 'UN existed for 40 years, and will it bring peace 40 more years of UN? Almost 30 years have passed and there is no fundamental changes at all through organizations. This is perhaps most difficult to understand we must put the right questions on the table for wrong questions leads to irrelevant answers.

M Gandhi pointed out that no government is needed if we are educated correctly but if there is one he would prefer that one would be self ruled. Not much better though, This is clear if you looked at India and Pakistan with all the conflicts, misery, hunger, cruelty and suffering.

Uncountable millions NGO Non Governmental Organizations at national levels and 40,000 international level has not brought any fundamental changes and it never will. One organization is always in conflict with an other. All systems are in state of corruption. No system can work for all systems are rigid.

Fundamental changes can come only through total revolution and transformation of the individual. It will not come through any system, no matter honest good intent or not. The individual must find out the truth by him or her self through observation, investigation and intelligence. Krishnamurti points out that this is not most people want to touch with 10 foot pole for it requires serious and total attention. It is extremely arduous, it is life in constant flux, it demands all of one's attention or he will miss it.

Understanding the Conflict

What is conflict?
Are the internal conflict different than external conflict?
Can it end?

Why our mind chatter constantly?
Can there be silence?
Can there be peace?

In the moment of true observation, is there noise?
Is it not silence when the noise stops being?
Is it not the sum of the individual's peace that makes peace of the humanity?

What are the noises in our conditioned mind?
Fear is one of the conflicts.
Desire is an other.

What do we understand about desire and fear?
Isn't there fear of not fulfilling in desiring?
Is there other new desires waiting behind this desire?

What is important the answer or the question?
Will you get relevant answer with wrong question?
Isn't the right question more important than the answer?

Why we believe the conflicts can not end?
Are we so gullible?
Why can not all the saints be wrong?

Can the dogmas, doctrines and ideologies deal with changing world?
Must you not be flexible if you are not to break?
If you are rigid how can you adopt to the constant changes?

Are not all systems in state of corruption?
Can corrupted and sick system fix itself?
Or must the sick system stop being a system for end of sickness?

Obama does not get it.

No politicians nor kings will ever get it. Only way they get it is when they cease to be. But this will not happen for they are 'out of tough with reality' said Joseph Campbell in Power of Myth series interview by Bill Moyer of PBS. J Krishnamurti who spoke at the UN on subject of peace in 1984 said it poignantly 'they are doomed.' It is almost impossible to come out of the rigid regime structure.

Burdened with hierarchy, culture, conformity, repetition, political dogmas, religious beliefs which is not any different than as dogmas leaders are unable to be flexible to cope enormous complexities of life. With comfort and luxury they live in constant conflict with one and other. Unable to see the beauty of life behind caged walls of obscene castles, they spread cruelty brutality. They inflict pain and suffering to masses. We are not related if one does not see the beauty of the birds and the bees.

You can not reach out and touch for as Mr Campbell said 'He is devoid of features of humanity, when you remove the mask of Darth Vader, father of the Jedi in Star Wars movie, he has no facial features. He is undeveloped and unformed man, a mold, a politician.' This important father quest rings through out history of western culture where it developed in Israel. Father sustains the family for desert is poor landscape for human.

In East father is not important. Monsoon brings abundance of water along with all kind of vegetation and rice grows in water soaked fields. Mother gives life and mother gives food. But this is an other story.

The Great American Imperialism

I was born in Seoul Korea about time of Korean war. I left Korea when I was 16. Large portion of the problem lies in American embargo. In international age cutting off both hands import and export, how can one feed herself. It is like Cuba. Of course Dictators are as bad as any politician and most are worse but by making innocent people subject to even harsher life by cutting their livelihood only weaken them further. Deprive of most fundamental need they don't have the energy to sustain any meaningful protest.

North Korea is no threat to anyone except to their own people. Rusted ships and much older than half a century vintage WW2 reject Russian tanks without parts and fuel to exercise are not any threat to superpowers of super modern Japan, Korea and US. I have seen the these tanks in person in Korea recently, they look as though it was made out from backyard of a person of no technical skill. They look as though they poured the metal on sand castle contest only not as good as the sand castles. Their missiles lack accurate delivery system and range nor do they have anti missiles. Then course West has multiple warheads, anti anti missiles, space laser weapons, stealth bombers, stealth, fighter planes, drones, awac planes, hydrogen bombs, neutron bombs, atomic trident submarines, aircraft carrier groups, space ships... only to mention old stuff for us... all the new stuff are classified as you know.

According to first hand report from the South Korean inspector of the ship that sank, the war ship sank by hitting a rock. But of course they fired the inspector and deleted all his reports off the record. Every president of South Korea had been convicted and sentenced to execution for corruption, apart from those who suicided like the last president and other who were murdered by their own.

Drop the embargo, get us out of all the foreign soil. It is not easy job as America has almost 800 military bases around the world. and these are only counting the bases outside of US. We have military bases in almost every country and engaged in war constantly, couple of genocides every decade. How much better is it when we millions every decade in endless wars. Mighty money making military industry funded by bankers who funds both sides so they can not loose. They are behind all these lies that North Korea is somehow a threat. Now even China will not support North Korea, for fear of loosing cash cow North America. Without Chinese support North Korea who has population of 30 million starving people are not going to bite the hand that feeds them and go rogue against 1,300 million.

Democracy with 51% ignorant majority is nothing more than tyranny. Imperial America is found on slave trade, see Noam Chomsky, not written in history books when I was in school. Go visit any Eastern cities like New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit just name a few. You will find 70% of the population live in the slums for 70% of the population was black who built america. Slums were created by whites wanting to not live with the slaves and burn the buildings so they can collect insurance and go out to suburbs. Go to New York or Washington DC and walk half block towards downtown, you will see what I mean. You will see as far as you can see nothing but burnt buildings. No cars on the streets only grass and weed peeking through cracks of the street. I promise you that you can not walk in more than 5 meters. There is no need to for it is same in all directions. Still today whites tell us go back to Asia. Ignorant majority tell native Americans to go back to India and blacks to Africa for America is for whites only. I have experienced this many times in my life. Just last year one told me to go back to Vietnam.

This superpower is total dictatorship with absolute tyranny. Lay down the weapons of mass destructions and lets start building infra-structures, roads, housing and food for the homeless. Keep the dialog open but get out of weapons business. I don't need leaders, why do you want some one to how to live your life? Is it because you are not strong enough to see the truth yourself?

Mind's desire for permanence, seeking continuity

What reincarnates? Obviously not memory which is etched in brain, unless you don't see the truth in scientific research. In the West we want go to heaven and in the East we want to reincarnate, the mind wants to continue knowing that you are temporal. Mind seeks permanence. Do you know anything that last for ever? What do you want to continue after your body decays? What reincarnates.

All religious leaders are blind and lead blind followers to dullness. Authority is conformity which is not freedom. Why do you give authority to someone to lead your life, is it not because you are not strong enough to find the truth by your self? Unknowable can not be reached by any map for there is no map to unknown.

What is the difference between dictator and life time political leader whose words are to be obeyed without question? None. Any one who advocates secularization and nationalism obviously can not be in communion with others. If you realize observer can not be separated from observed (father, son and holy ghost are one), leader and the led disappear. We are one human. I have same needs and wants as any others.

What is the difference between 14 generations of Dalai Lama's absolute authority from 14 generations of any kingdom? Wanting to be absolute ruler of his own country, isn't this all the dictators want. As long as nations with it patriotism exist there will be wars and conflicts. There will be no freedom. As long as there are organized religions, which are not true religion, you will not find the truth. If you organize the truth is truth? Who gave them authority?

Christians Muslims Hindus and Buddhists can not talk to or face each other. With blind faith they believe that they are the only chosen one. More cruelty has been committed in the name of organized religion than all other sick causes, although Buddhism is by far the least harmful. In Joseph Campbell said in Bill Moyer's interview Power of Myth, politician is an unformed man, devoid of face and out of touch with reality. Mr Campbell is professor emeritus of comparative religion at a Catholic university.

We are one human. You have same needs and wants as anyone else. To be free of authority, to be treated with respect and decency and finally to be free from nightmare of history or past. We live in the past. The culture, which is conformity to past, is not freedom.

Past was and is gone. you can not bring it to life. Future is modified past, a projection of the mind. It does not exist. All the visions of saints are but projections of their mind, what they have been taught, what they have learned and thought about.

Present moment, or eternity is different from always. It is psychologically timeless moment. When the past which is mind become silent through deep understanding of nature of the conditioned mind, which is desire, want, envy greed etc, then the lens of perception is cleansed. Only then truth is revealed and it is here at present moment.

Heaven and hell, reincarnation all these are inventions of human's or rather human mind's deepest desire for continuity. They are not real.

Freedom from the past

Can you be free from the past?
Must you not be free from the past?
Isn't history a nightmare that humanity is trying to awake from illusion of psychological time.

Freedom from what?
Freedom from desires?
Or freedom from the past.

Freedom from time?
Freedom from continuity?
Freedom from intent?

Isn't it freedom from the noise of the mind?
Isn't it silence?
What is silence unless mind ceases to be but alert and aware.

End of conflict.
No noise.
Just one is aware of all that is.

Communion

There is mystery beyond the known it is unknown.
Creativity is not modification of the old.
It is a revolution, end of the old and born of the new.

Observer is observed.
Self is the mirror that reflects its creation.
Past is the cloud that blurs the lens of the perception.

Present moment has no time.
Mind projects future using memory, which is the past.
Past is gone and not here nor is it real.

'What is real' is has to be here at present moment .
Mind with memory distorts 'what is.'
Mind diminish sensitivity.

Insensitive mind can not see beauty.
Nor can it see suffering, cruelty, brutality, leading to total misery.
If you are insensitive to suffering, you can not be sensitive to beaty.

Insensitivity to other leads to self centered and competition.
Competition breeds conflict.
conflict of those who have and those who have not.

Communion is at-one-ment or atonement.
One has relationship with the other.
Observed is observer.

Known is always limited.
There is much more in the unknown.
It is divine creation, it's new.
